Supplemental Dental Insurance

Not all health care plans cover dental work, and if it does, how much is covered? It is important to understand which dental services are covered, either partially or entirely of all costs of the procedure. Family members may also be covered for their dental needs, and is necessary to find out how much is covered including pre-existing condictions and how much the deductible is.

Supplemental dental insurance coverage is often chosen to cover the following:

basic regular visits for checkups, cleaning, fillings, extractions and x-rays
root canals, periodontal cleanings, and scaling
restorative work
inlays and crowns
bridgework, dentures, and orthodontic treatments
